I went all the way through Golden Valley today, then followed the mountains for about 6 miles on pavement. I thought I was going West, but guess it was more North. I kept on the hard dirty washboard sand and gravel for 8 miles before I hit Shinarump road, then has an idea about where I was. Another 5 miles and I was back on pave ment. I hadn't taken any pictures, it was so rough, I'm surprised the camera still worked. I decided to ride out into the desert, it was beautiful, and I felt like a little dirt riding for some pictures. I ended up with about a dozen pics (not posted here), but found that "dirt" riding on a highway scooter, in soft sand, with "not so soft cactus" is not the thing to do.
